Nail Technician
(Full-time or Part-time)
Cedar Rose Spa is seeking a Licensed Nail Technician to join our boutique luxury day spa just outside of Deadwood. This role is ideal for someone who values craftsmanship, enjoys creating calm and meaningful guest experiences, and takes pride in providing thoughtful, high-quality nail care.
Our Nail Suite is designed to feel quiet and restorative, with brand new pedicure chairs and a peaceful spa environment. This is not a high-volume salon. Instead, Cedar Rose focuses on intentional, appointment-based services where practitioners can take their time and deliver exceptional care.
The Nail Technician will work independently within the Nail Suite while maintaining the standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and guest experience that define Cedar Rose Spa.
Responsibilities
- Perform natural manicures and pedicures with exceptional attention to detail
- Maintain a calm, relaxing, and professional environment for guests
- Follow sanitation protocols and treatment standards
- Recommend retail and home-care products to support guest results
- Contribute to seasonal service offerings and department consistency
Qualifications
- Current South Dakota Nail Technician License
- Strong skill in natural nail services and spa pedicures
- Confident in sanitation standards and treatment protocols
- Comfortable working independently within a quiet spa environment
- Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused
Compensation
- Hourly or Commission-Based Pay on experience
- 100% of Gratuities retained
- Retail commission

Massage Therapist
(Full-Time)
Cedar Rose Spa is seeking a Massage Therapist to join our luxury day spa and support our growing guest demand. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about therapeutic + relaxation massage, intentional touch, and providing a restorative, grounding experience for every guest.
The Massage Therapist will perform services in a calm, softly lit treatment environment, offering customized pressure and thoughtful presence. This role is centered on technique, consistency, and creating a peaceful atmosphere throughout the spa.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality massage services with customized pressure
- Create a warm, safe, grounded environment for guests
- Follow all treatment protocols, sanitation standards, and room setups
- Maintain professionalism and consistency throughout each service
- Support client wellness through thoughtful communication and recommendations
Qualifications
- Current South Dakota Massage Therapy License (or in process)
- Strong hands-on skills and intuitive massage presence
- Knowledge of anatomy, pressure adaptation, and relaxation techniques
- Dependable, professional, and aligned with a calm, spa-focused environment
- Comfortable working independently and maintaining consistent standards
Compensation
- Hourly or Commission-Based Pay depending on experience
